The Dr. Jazz Duo is a unique Hungarian musical act featuring pianist-composer Dr. Gábor Tóth and jazz drummer Balázs Bágyi. This extraordinary duo combines elements of traditional and modern boogie-woogie, stride piano, blues, and swing to offer the audience a special experience. The repertoire includes the pianist’s own compositions, jazz standards, and boogie arrangements of classical works, all spiced with virtuoso improvisation. Since their formation five years ago, they have given numerous highly successful concerts both in Hungary and abroad. This year, they will take the stage at the Debrecen Wine and Jazz Days, joined by double bassist Péter Oláh.
