Returned from the United States, Tibor Fiák formed the Tibor Fiák Quartet. The band is a smooth jazz ensemble in which characterful, emotive guitar playing takes center stage. Built around the guitar, the jazz band creates its unique sound with airy grooves, subtle harmonies, rich timbres, and melodic, virtuosic improvisations. Their music is both calm and energetic, blending the soft world of smooth jazz with the freedom and spontaneity of jazz.
