Pataj György Quintet

The band was formed in the summer of 2009 by outstanding musicians from the Hungarian jazz scene. The group revives the Hard Bop genre of the ’60s and ’70s with a musical palette that is a real treat for jazz fans, as this style has since fallen into obscurity.

Its sound faithfully reflects the world of the outstanding ensembles of that era, such as the Art Blakey Jazz Messengers and the Freddie Hubbard Quintet.
