According to archival records, our ancestors have been cultivating the hillsides of Szekszárd since 1746. Their memory is preserved through the 20th-century family photos featured on their wine labels and the stories about them—mostly humorous, sometimes heartwarming.
János is the 10th generation of the Eszterbauer family and, together with his wife, daughters, and winemaker Miklós Klein, runs this tradition-based business. In keeping with local conditions, red wines make up the bulk of their selection; the Szekszárd varieties—Kadarka, Kékfrankos, and Bikavér—showcase the wine region’s diversity, while international varieties continue to achieve new successes on the global stage.
