The Neiner Családi Pince is a small family-run winery in the Szekszárd wine region, currently cultivating three hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are located in exceptional plots, all of which lie on or directly below the mountain peaks: on Őcsényi Hill, in the Porkoláb Valley, on Csacska Hill, and in the Ferenc Gorge. They come from a family with a long tradition of winemaking and have lived in Szekszárd for centuries. Their great-grandfathers arrived from Bavaria in the early 1700s, and they have been making wine ever since, constantly rebuilding what wars, natural disasters, and dictatorships had destroyed or taken away. Currently, three brothers in the Neiner family—János, András, and István—cultivate the vineyards, tend to the estate, and make wine in the cellar. They work using essentially artisanal methods, preserving the traditional techniques passed down over the centuries. Since 2006, the Neiners have also been bottling their own siller wine under the name Lángsiller, reviving this long-forgotten wine variety. This small estate is the result of generations of hard work, bringing both joy and pride, with its Kadarka vineyards—now considered a true Hungarian specialty.
